To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic N9000, premium Italian sports brand Diadora teams up again with Bangkok-based cult sneaker store 24 Kilates and Singaporean sneaker artist Sabotage to present an exclusive release: the N9000 In Vino Veritas.
This is the first in a series of partnerships to honor the legendary sneaker launched by Diadora in the 1990 running catalog and now elevated to the status of a streetwear icon. The collaboration is a tribute to the homelands of Diadora and 24Kilates, Italy and Spain, with a particular focus on the long history and beauty of the territory of their respective countries. The project is in fact inspired by the glorious past of the great Tarragona wine originating from the MONTSANT region of Spain. This territory’s connection with wine and vineyards dates back to the Roman Empire, as it was the ancient Romans who were the driving force behind Montsant winemaking, introducing new viticulture and winemaking techniques. Green and red are the recurring motifs of this special edition, recalling the vibrant color of the vineyards, which are located in a beautiful hilly countryside, sharing the slopes with almond trees, olive trees and pine forests, and the red grapes of Montsant, whose wine is appreciated by tasters from all over the world.
Fine Italian red velvet and a green jacquard “Sabotage” camouflage pattern, thus recall all the complexity of that territory. To further enrich the pack, the shoe is completed by 3 sets of different laces.
The release is limited to 800 pairs worldwide.
